I'm Steve Thompson and I've started to lay down some thoughts around "digital citizenship" here and I'll invite some others to come and add their thoughts and enter into discussion.
A bit of an industry has grown around the topic of digital inclusion but I want to simplify the discussion and find a base level at which someone could avoid exclusion and missed opportunities. For some the learning curve is steep and the mixed agendas of those who would guide you may actually lead you astray.
So the first page I'll add here is email there will obviously be others but this to my mind is the fundamental requirement to be on the path to becoming a digital citizen.
The term digital citizen may be over used (if it's not, I predict it will be) certainly we've heard "Digital Inclusion" ad nauseum but we could use any term. What we're getting at is people knowing how to do stuff that's needed in today's world.
